However your Burren begins, we’re so glad that you’re here, and we’re using Stone & Story as our journal where we can capture the essence of life at Into the Burren. Because Into the Burren is more than a place: it’s a personal experience. It’s a natural rhythm, a moment that becomes a memory, a way of decoding this most special of landscapes, a feeling that completes us.
We’ll share what we love about our life here. Those we have met, the stories we hear from the tours we guide and the paths we’ve walked. We’ll share moments of serendipity, of stillness and of exhilaration. A glimpse of local life or a stranger who became a friend.
Perhaps we’ll tell you about a flower that’s early to bloom, an ancient site we visited as the rain fell, or an old photograph shared by a guest of another place and time.
Practical, poetic, purposeful – we’ll share it with you. And always it will come from the heart and from the deep love we hold for the enduring beauty of this land that once experienced, is never forgotten.
