This is an extract from an email from one of our guests
Hi Chris,
Oh my goodness, I have not stopped talking about you, your beautiful home away from home, and all of your generosity! If not for you, my daughter would not have found Kilbaha and the place I was able to take off my shoes and take in all the strength, love and resilience of my ancestors! Paul found a graveyard nearby with over 30 Mulvihill, Fitzgerald and Scanlon graves. (some intermarried but that’s another story)
After a 22 hour travel day, 3 planes, heavy shout out to Air Canada, and a female pilot for United, (my first one) I woke up with so much gratitude for my homeland and all of you joy and wisdom in my heart.
To think you are friend’s with John O’Donohue’s brother, and we got to stand at his grave. You really showed us another side of Ireland we would have missed, as well as reminded us to just hang out with folks and learn the best hidden away places to see Ireland.
Thanks again, and again!
We love you to pieces!
You are welcome to stay with us in KC anytime!
